Based on the search results, “Paris” is a specific color or style within various ranges of hybrid flooring, often described as a smooth, blended grey that evokes a modern, European feel. The product with dimensions 1520x230x7mm is a popular option in the Australian market.

Here is a comprehensive breakdown of its features and specifications:

Product Specifications

• Product Name: “Paris” is the color/style. It is often part of a “Luxury Hybrid” or “Clever Hybrid XL” range. The visual is a smooth, blended grey, which is a departure from the typical timber-mimicking colors like Blackbutt or Spotted Gum.
• Type: SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) Hybrid Flooring. This type of flooring is highly durable and dimensionally stable.
• Dimensions: The planks measure 1520mm in length, 230mm in width, and 7mm in thickness. This wide plank format is designed to create a premium, spacious look.
• Wear Layer: The wear layer is crucial for durability. For the “Paris” style, a 0.5mm wear layer with a UV and scratch-resistant coating (often with ceramic beads or aluminium oxide) is common.
• Core: The core is made of a Stone Plastic Composite (SPC), which contains a high percentage of stone. This makes the planks extremely rigid, resistant to dents, and waterproof.
• Water Resistance: The core is 100% waterproof, making the flooring suitable for installation in wet areas like kitchens, laundries, and bathrooms. However, it’s not a moisture barrier, so proper subfloor preparation is essential to prevent mold or mildew growth from prolonged exposure to moisture.
• Acoustic Properties: These planks often come with a pre-attached acoustic underlayment, which improves sound absorption and makes the floor quieter underfoot. Many products in this category have a high AAAC (Australian Acoustic Architectural Council) rating, often 5-star or higher.
• Locking System: It uses a “click-and-lock” or “drop-lock” system (e.g., Uniclic or Clever Click), which allows for a floating installation without the use of glue or nails. This makes it a popular choice for DIY projects.
• Packaging: A typical box contains 6 planks and covers an area of approximately 2.0976 square meters. The box weight is around 22.59 kg.

Durability and Warranty

• Residential Warranty: A 25-year structural warranty and a 15-year limited residential wear warranty are standard for this type of flooring.
• Commercial Warranty: For commercial use, a 10-year structural warranty and a 5-year limited light commercial wear warranty are commonly offered.
• Other features: The flooring is designed for high-traffic areas and is resistant to scuffs, stains, and UV fading. It also often has a P3 slip-resistance rating.

Installation

• DIY-Friendly: The click-and-lock system simplifies the installation process for homeowners.
• Subfloor Preparation: The subfloor must be clean, dry, and level. The maximum recommended deviation is typically no more than 2-3mm over 1 to 2 linear meters.
• Acclimatization: The flooring should be allowed to acclimate in the room for at least 24 hours (or up to 48 hours) at a consistent temperature of 18-25°C before installation.
• Expansion Gap: A crucial step is to leave an expansion gap of 8-10mm around the perimeter of the room to allow for natural expansion and contraction. This gap is later covered by skirting boards.
• Tools: Standard tools for installation include a tape measure, pencil, saw, tapping block, rubber mallet, and spacers.
